This position requires a M-F schedule with 15 -20 hours weekly, possibly more.
We are looking for a candidate to assist with our day-to-day social media operations. You will be part of a team of 10 members who actively manage and support our clients. You will learn the ins and outs of our business and how to make social media a productive part of any businesses marketing efforts.
New candidates are expected to have experience with social media on (at least) a personal level (use on a business level preferred). You must be able to think strategically and see how social media fits into a business’ marketing strategy, not just “selling” to our customers, but building long-lasting relationships by providing value to them at every turn. Interns must be able to assist in formulating social media plans (once ample information is provided to you), and then carry them out (with our assistance). You must be able to measure and document the impact of social media, and then suggest action-steps to increase impact.
Candidates will gain direct experience with major social media marketing campaigns and strategies through hands-on training and participation. Interns will assist our marketing team with current large-scale campaigns, from assisting with content for sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and other similar community sites to compiling and analyzing data for reports to the client, and much more.
